Refund Policy

Coaching is a serious investment, and you should never feel locked in to work that is not serving you. Here is exactly how refunds work at Coaching+.

1. The first-session fit guarantee

If, after your first paid session of a package, you do not feel the coaching is the right fit for you, get in touch and we will refund that session in full — no debate, no friction. We would rather you spend your time and money on the right coach than the wrong one. This mirrors the promise on our Guarantee page.

2. Beyond the first session

After your first paid session, packages are non-refundable. We commit our time and preparation to your engagement, so we ask you to commit in return. That said, we are flexible about how unused sessions are used — rather than losing them, you can:

  • Transfer unused sessions to a colleague within the same organisation;
  • Pause your engagement and resume later; or
  • Hold the sessions for use at a later date, by agreement.

3. The Discovery Call

The Discovery Call is a short, 30-minute conversation designed to find out whether we are a good fit before you commit to anything. Because it is delivered as soon as it takes place, the Discovery Call fee is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. It is a low-pressure way to find out whether Coaching+ is right for you.

4. How to request a refund

Simply email stephenblewett@coachingplus.com within 14 days of your first paid session, telling us you would like to use the fit guarantee. You do not need to justify your decision — if it is not the right fit, that is reason enough.

5. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are made through Stripe to your original payment method. Refunds are usually issued within a few business days of approval, though it can take a little longer for the funds to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card provider.

6. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for services bought online. Where you ask us to begin coaching within that period — for example, by booking a session that takes place before the 14 days are up — you are requesting immediate performance, and the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the service has been fully performed. Our first-session fit guarantee above is designed to protect you generously regardless.

7. Corporate and invoiced engagements

Where coaching is purchased by an organisation under an invoice or engagement agreement, the refund and cancellation terms in that agreement take precedence over this page. If anything is unclear, ask us before you sign.

8. Honesty about progress

Even outside the formal refund window, our principle holds: if the engagement is not working, we will say so — and so should you. If you ever feel our promise is not being met, email Stephen directly at stephenblewett@coachingplus.com and we will find the right way forward together.
